As well as promoting 'Winged Pharaoh', at the suggestion of Joan Grant, in 1938/9 DW invited a some of his friends to attend a series of lectures about reincarnation and other 'New Age' topics at his home in St Johns Wood Park.

The lectures were given by a Mr Arthur Wyeth and a Mr Neal. Wyeth believed himself a reincarnation of a High Priest in Ancient Egypt, and the subjects of his public talks ranged from re-incarnation to Atlantis and to comparative religions and the 'secret teachings' to be found in them.

Further details of Mr Wyeth's beliefs and teachings can be found in R.J. ('Dick') Lloyd's excellent and yet very hard-to-find book 'Re-incarnated as a Boarding School Boy'.
