Letter to Anthony 1

Written in the late 1930s, this and the next letter were presumably written to Wheatley's only son Anthony, although they look like they were intended for publication.  If they were published, I am not aware of it.
Description of location is always one of the strongest aspects of his writing, and these charming letters show what a marvelous travel writer he would have made.

Typed onto foolscap paper with holograph corrections in pencil.
