Wheatley's hand-drawn map of his proposed invasion of Sardinia. This formed part of his war-paper 'A New Gibraltar' 1940. A version of this map is reproduced in 'Stranger than Fiction' (1959), page 117.

Wheatley's hand-drawn illustration for 'Atlantic Life-Line'. A similar illustration to this is reproduced in 'Stranger than Fiction' (1959), page 179. This idea also formed the basis for the plot of 'The Man Who Missed the War' 1946.
