Wheatley's Bible
This is the 1939 Cambridge University Press facsimile of William Tyndale's 1534 translation of the New Testament.  This is number 62 of a limited edition of 500 copies.  It is bound in red morocco and held in a cloth covered slip-case.  This copy has Wheatley's distinctive bookplate on the front pastedown.  He gave this book to his old friend Cyril 'Bobby' Eastaugh, Bishop of Peterborough, shortly before his death and has inscribed it to the bishop on the half title page.
