Handwritten outline of a 'Bulldog Drummond' story

Clearly, there are no published books by Wheatley featuring Bulldog Drummond, the character created by 'Sapper' (H.C. McNeile), so it is therefore unusual to find him considering such a work.  Following 'Sapper', other Drummond books were written by Gerard Fairlie, and this may date from about the time of the handover which I think was about 1950. Wheatley did write a short story featuring another famous sleuth, Sexton Blake, that was never published, and an extract can be read by clicking on the link at the foot of the page.
