Notes:

A lavish celebratory promotional publication, commemorating J&B's history of 250 years.  Dennis Wheatley's text from the 7th and 8th Ages has been used and updated for this new edition.  Each page in this 10" (25cm) by 10" volume is numbered as a year starting from 1749 and ending with 1999.  With the exception of an introduction to the Ninth Age on page 1749 and a clever insertion of a 1999 wine list booklet into the rear cover on page 1999, every odd-numbered year hosts a full-colour plate of artwork from that particular year.  The even numbered years contain DW's updated words with additional material by Michael Broadbent of Christie's.  All pages also contain historical footnotes relating to the relevent year.

Publication very kindly supplied by
Justerini & Brooks, London.
