'Ready Money' Wheatley was a typical Victorian entrepreneur, and set up his sons in associated businesses.

This indenture is possibly made out to DW's Uncle Dennis, but is much more likely to be made out to 'Ready Money' himself.

It was retained in DW's personal papers until his death.
