DW's original drawing for the bookplate - with Gordon-Tombe cast as the devil

When, in 1928, DW commissioned the celebrated artist Frank C Pape to produce a bookplate for him, the bookplate depicted DW at the feet of his beloved mentor, Gordon Eric Gordon-Tombe.
